The ID2 a162 goggle is the
latest offering in 2009 from the excellent Adidas winter sport range.

The ID2 is a medium fit
unisex goggle, which features interchangeable spherical polycarbonate twin
filter lenses that are treated with both hard coating and anti-fog coatings,
and provide 100% protection from harmful UVA, UVB and UVC rays as standard.

Of the numerous exciting
technical innovations featured in the ID2 goggle, adidas has incorporated the
interchangeable 2-frame levelling, which ensures an excellent fit when the ID2
goggle is worn in conjunction with a helmet.

This alongside the
siliconized, adjustable headstrap helps to ensure a steadfast grip. The ID2
features a fully padded soft face foam, which automatically fits around the
nose for optimal comfort out on the slopes all day. The ID2 also features
Nano-Foam special surface refinement that keeps the foam breathable whilst
also creating a hydrophobic (water repellent) surface.

Snow crystals do not stick
to the surface of the foam fleece and water drops roll off, thus helping to
ensure that the foam does not absorb water. This in combination with the
Climacool Ventilation system helps to maximise clear vision in any weather
situation making the ID2 ideally suited to all winter sports, especially
snowboarding and freeskiing.

The ID2 a162 goggle is able
to accommodate a prescription optical insert, which can be glazed to meet a
wide range of requirements (single vision only).
